CHATHAM — The fear of losing one’s home can be daunting, which is why a local organization is ready to arm homeowners with enough information to prevent the loss from occurring.
The Genesis Housing Development Corp. is holding a free seminar from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at its office, 7735 S. Vernon Ave. Attendees can expect to learn if their home’s value has dropped, if they owe more than their home is even worth and how to handle financial setbacks like unemployment.
