Man Dies After Sunday Shooting in Lawndale

CHICAGO — A man shot in Lawndale on Sunday died Tuesday morning in the hospital, authorities said.

Around 10:50 p.m. SundayMarsalis Holman, 20, of the 1300 block of South Kolin Avenue, was shot in the same block where he lived after an argument with another man, according to authorities.

He was initially taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound in his head, police said. 

Holman was pronounced dead at the hospital at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said Friday evening.

No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
