CHICAGO — After two women were robbed at gunpoint in Bridgeport, police are warning residents to stay alert and to report suspicious behavior in the neighborhood immediately.
The first incident happened Dec. 4 in the 200 block of West 28th Place around 9:15 p.m. As the woman was walking home a man showed her a gun before robbing her, police said.
The man was described as a bald black man standing between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-3 and weighing around 130 pounds with a medium complexion, police said.
Two days later, a woman was robbed while walking in the 1900 block of South Wells Street around 10:30 p.m., police said.
The attacker was described as black man between 5-foot-5 and 6-feet-tall weighing about 100 pounds with an afro and dark complexion, police said.
