CHICAGO — Porkchop, which already has full-service restaurants in Hyde Park and the West Loop, will soon be opening its second express location in the Loop, the restaurant team announced Tuesday.

The new fast service restaurant will serve lunch and dinner with hopes of adding a breakfast menu soon, according to a release. The new Loop location's menu will be almost identical to the menu at the West Loop location.

The new restaurant at 29 E. Adams St. will stay true to the Porkchop vibe with the same self-described "urban backwoods atmosphere," the restaurant's team said in a release. It will feature a full kitchen and seating for 24 people.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week and plans to stay open until 10 p.m.

Porkchop owner Jovanis Bouargoub is also planning a new concept for the South Loop in 2015 when he opens Chop, a 2,300-square-foot steakhouse in the Roosevelt Collection mall.

Chop will focus on high-end dishes such as steak, wine and burgers.
