Tiny Miles and the Big Kids at Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted St., 8:30 p.m.
Harmonica Dunn presents Tiny Miles and the Big Kids, a young blues trio with Chicago roots. They'll play along with Rusty Gates another Chicago-based band. The 21-and-over show is free if you RSVP or $5 at the door.
Employee Christmas Party at Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar, 2519 N. Halsted St., 9:30 p.m.
The annual Christmas party will feature music from B.L.U.E.S. Bar regular Vance "Guitar" Kelly and Backstreet Blues Band plus food, special guests and giveaways. The cover is $5 and goes toward the staff's Christmas bonus. Doors open at 8 p.m.
