Police May Have Found Your Stolen Laptop

CHICAGO— Did someone steal your laptop? Police may have found it.

After an investigation that resulted in the recovery of stolen items, police are looking for the owners of the goods.

On Friday, police invited residents in the Town Hall and Lincoln Districts to step forward and identify stolen items from burglaries that occurred between March and November.

Police are attempting to identify the owners of the remaining items:

• Google Chrome Book – Serial # 3A16004554

• Apple Mac Book – Serial # W8827KHW0P1

• Apple Mac Book Pro – Serial # W88507YP1G0

• Apple Mac Book Pro – Serial # W803800RGQL

• Apple Mac Book – Serial # W88310P50P5

• Fuji Film 16 Mega Pixel Camera – Serial # 2TB99944

• Apple 8gb IPod – Serial # PC926KZL201

Anyone wishing to claim any of the listed items must provide proof of purchase or ownership. 

If you have been a victim of a burglary in the Lincoln or Town Hall Districts, police are asking for you to contact police at 312-744-8263.
