NORTH CENTER — Dubbed "the mother of all girls' books," "Little Women," even in theatrical form, doesn't exactly scream date night.
But hear us out, guys. The performance is at a pub.
Twenty Percent Theatre is mounting its annual adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel at Black Rock Pub & Kitchen, 3614 N. Damen Ave.
So c'mon fellas: Grab a pint and an order of sliders and settle in for an evening with the March sisters. Spoiler alert for those unfamiliar with the plot: Jo is a girl, Laurie is a boy, and Beth, well, let's just say, don't get too attached.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online. Remaining shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Dec. 14-16.
