At 12:50 a.m. Sunday in South Austin, a 22-year-old woman was sitting in her car in the 100 block of North Leclaire Avenue when she was approached by two unknown men, Greer said

The men ordered the woman to get out of the car and the woman refused. As she drove away, one of the men fired several shots, striking the woman in her arm, Greer said.

The woman drove to a gas station near Cicero and Madison, where she notified police. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition had stabilized, Greer said.

No one is in custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.

Approximately five minutes earlier in Englewood, a man, 25, was attending a party in the 5900 block of South Elizabeth Street. The man walked outside, heard shots and felt pain, Greer said.

The man was shot in his leg and drove himself to Saint Bernard Hospital. He was later transported to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, Greer said.

Police said the victim is gang affiliated.

At 10:35 p.m., a man was accidently shot by his girlfriend in the 7200 block of South Lowe Avenue in Englewood.

The girlfriend discharged the gun striking her 45-year-old boyfriend in the shoulder. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center and is listed in critical condition, Greer said.

The girlfriend is in custody but no charges have been filed, Greer said.

In Washington Heights at 9:45 p.m., a 22-year-old man and a passenger were driving on 96 and Sangamon Streets when a light colored vehicle pulled up, Greer said.

An unidentified man got out of the vehicle and started shooting, striking the 22 year old in his shoulder. He was transported to Advocate Christ in stable condition, Greer said.

No one is in custody.

At 8:20 p.m., a man was shot in the 6900 block of South Prairie Avenue in Grand Crossing.

The 28-year-old man was standing on a corner when an unknown man exited an alley and fired shots, striking him in the lower back, Greer said.

The 28-year-old fled to the 6500 block of King Drive and called the police. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, Greer said.
