Things You Can Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town Wednesday

Tai Chi at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 9-10 a.m.

Learn the basics of Tai Chi in this weekly class taught by Jim Nitti of the Stirling Tai Chi Society. Tai Chi helps to develop balance, fitness and a mind-body connection while becoming more in tune with nature. Comfortable clothes and flat shoes are the only necessary equipment for the class, which is free to members of the museum.

Mr. Singer at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 1:45- 2:30 p.m.

Your young one will sing, clap and dance with Mr. Singer through his 30-minute high-energy show geared around the surrounding nature. The show is free with museum admission.

Jodee Lewis at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

Jodee Lewis, a native of Missouri Ozarks grew up on folk music and honky-tonk before learning classical piano and guitar when she moved to Chicago. Jonas Friddle will also perform at the 21-and-older show. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.
