CHICAGO — Police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Albany Park Monday.
On Monday, the teenage girl was walking south in the 4400 block of North Sacramento Avenue when she passed a man, who turned around and began following her, police said.
As the woman crossed an alley at Montrose Avenue she felt the man reach under her jacket and forcefully grope her from behind. The woman ran to a nearby home as the man fled westbound, police said.
The man was described as very short, under 5-foot-tall and possibly Hispanic. He has a medium complexion and dark eyes. The man was wearing a black scarf over half of his face and was wearing an oversized, pistachio-colored winter jacket with its hood up during the attack, police said.
