Pistol Pete at Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar, 2519 N. Halsted St., 9:30 p.m.

Catch the award-winning blues singer as he takes the stage at B.L.U.E.S. Monday night for $5. Throughout his career, Pistol Pete has opened for and played with Buddy Miles, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Billy Branch and the Blues Travelers. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Michael Issac at Zanie's, 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 p.m.

Head to Zanie's for Michael Issac's new live show "Michael Issac Plus," a one-of-a-kind show blending stand-up comedy with music. The show is hosted by Issac and features music by Nathan Cotters and comedy from Nikki Brayden, Calvin Evans, Chris Baugh and "Famo." Tickets are $10 with the minimum purchase of two food or drink items.
