WICKER PARK — Though you can't remedy your case of the Mondays with pizza and beer at Brendan Sodikoff's new Roxie's By the Slice — open only Tuesdays through Saturdays — rest assured that the casual dive that opened Friday will be back again tomorrow.
The new eatery at 1732 N. Milwaukee Ave. on a stretch of street that is either Bucktown or Wicker Park depending on whom you talk to, appears to have had a busy weekend.
"Roxie's sold out of slices. We're here for drinks till 2am. 450 slices in 4 hours! Thank you," Sodikoff tweeted late Friday.
Roxie's is open from 6 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays, according to its Facebook page.
