WEST LOOP — The 33-story Arkadia Tower building in the West Loop is now leasing for occupancy this March.

The luxury rental high rise, still under construction at 765 W. Adams St., will feature 350 apartment units and 356 parking spaces, according to Fabio Mazzilli, Arkadia business manager. As a nod to the tower's Greektown location, the base of the building is emblazoned with an image of the Parthenon.

The first unit in the building leased Monday, Mazzilli said.

"It's one of the biggest buildings in the neighborhood, without a doubt," Mazzilli said. "It will also be one of the nicest and most luxurious."

The building features studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as a few two-bedroom and three-bedroom penthouse units. About 20,000-square-feet of retail space is also for rent in the building's ground level.

Apartment amenities include a gym, party room, outdoor pool and deck with grilling area and fire pits. All two-bedroom units and about half of the one-bedroom units include balconies.

Monthly rents in the building start at:

• $1,610 for a 565-square-foot studio

• $1,735 for a 596-square-foot one-bedroom unit

• $2,440 for a larger one-bedroom 837-square-foot one-bedroom unit

• $2,910 for a 1,200-square-foot two bedroom, two bath unit

The building was developed by White Oaks Realty Partners and designed by FitzGerald Associates.

Construction began at Adams and Halsted streets in the summer of 2013.
