CHICAGO — DJB, where are you? The Chicago Police Department has your stolen 1966 Fenger High School Class ring and they want to return it.

The gold ring encrusted with the initials "DJB" was just the beginning of the loot police recovered when they busted Daunta Head with tons of stolen goods, which authorities say he took from Lakeview homes in the Town Hall police district from July through Nov. 7.

Head, 46, of the 5300 block of South Indiana Avenue, was charged with several counts of burglary after he stole laptops, a flute, jewelry, personalized rings and a camera, which he took mainly from garden apartments and multi-unit buildings, authorities said. He pawned several of the items at pawn shops around the city, police said.

After charging Head, officers are looking to return the stolen loot, including the class ring, which also carries a large red stone. All the recovered goods are pictured in the slideshow.

Head is due in court Friday.
