Early Sunday morning, a 23-year-old man walked into a West Suburban Medical Center with gunshot wounds to his right thigh and left ankle, Estrada said.

The man told police he was standing in the 1600 block of North Elston Avenue at 4:30 a.m. in West Town, when a black SUV pulled up and an occupant opened fire, Estrada said.

The man was in good condition, Estrada said.

A 28-year-old man was shot about 11;45 p.m. Saturday night South Austin. The man was in the passenger seat of a vehicle heading westbound on Chicago Avenue near the 800 block of North Latrobe when he heard shots and felt pain, Estrada said.

The man was shot in the right thigh and taken to West Suburban Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition, Estrada said.

Less than an hour earlier, at 10:55 p.m., a 19-year-old man was standing in the 400 block of North Laramie Avenue when he was approached by two men who opened fire, striking the man in his buttocks and grazing his right leg, Estrada said.
