ZooLights Turning Into BrewLights for One Night Only

LINCOLN PARK — ZooLights will be a bit toastier next month as the zoo hosts a new night focused on seasonal beer.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Chicago holiday favorite, Louis Glunz Beers will host BrewLights at the zoo.

The special night on Dec. 3 will feature a dozen varieties of beer at several taps throughout the zoo.

Guests will have a chance to try 4-ounce samples of each of the 12 holidaycentric beers.

The festive beer list includes: 

  • Great Lakes Christmas Ale
  • Stiegl Goldbrau
  • Unibroue Blanche de Chambly
  • Hirter Morchl
  • Delirium Noel
  • Anchor Christmas
  • Baderbrau Naked Selfie
  • Temperance Smittytown Tart
  • Pabst Blue Ribbon
  • Crabbies Ginger
  • Wyder’s Vermont Pear Cider
  • Berghoff Germanic

Additional 12-ounce beers and food will be available for an additional charge.

Tickets to the event, which runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 3, start at $35 (through Nov. 9). Tickets are $40 from Nov. 10  through Dec. 1 and $50 on the day of the event.

Tickets for designated drivers are $15.
