GQ Hosting 'How-To' Series at The Tie Bar Pop-Up

LINCOLN PARK — GQ Magazine wants to help Chicagoans learn how to style and groom themselves for the holiday season.

The magazine is pairing up with the newly opened The Tie Bar popup shop for four events in Lincoln Park focusing on the "How-To's of being a modern gentleman."

The first event on Thursday will focus on How-To Style, and will feature the latest fall fashion trends and styles with Chicago stylist Mel Muoio.

The second event will focus on How-To Grooming Nov. 13 with complimentary shaves by Joe's Barbershop and grooming product demonstrations by Kiehl's Since 1851.

For the How-To Mixology night, Nov. 20, Scofflaw's Danny Shapiro and Drumbar's Alex Renshaw will be demonstrating some seasonal cocktail previews.

The series will close with a How-To Holiday party Dec. 11.

The events are each held from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Tie Bar, 918 W. Armitage Ave. and are free.
