LAKEVIEW — Think your chili is the best in Chicago? Put it to the test this weekend at Sheffield's seventh annual chili cook-off.

The event starts at 2 p.m. Sunday with guest judges Chef Sarah Jayne Grueneberg (runner up of Top Chef Texas); Johnny Van of Johnny Van's BBQ; and Victor Muscia, Sheffield's chef and pitmaster.

It's free to compete, but you'll need to register by Saturday by emailing events@sheffieldschicago.com.

The best chili wins a $100 Sheffield's gift card. Second place wins a $75 gift card, third place gets a $50 gift card, and the "Fan Favorite" wins a private tour of Lagunitas Brewery.

If you just want to eat chili, admission costs $15 and includes two drink tickets, chili tasting and a chance to vote for the fan favorite.

Sheffield's Beer and Wine Garden is at 3258 N. Sheffield Ave.
