PILSEN — With a skeleton processional and sidewalk altar displays, Pilsen residents celebrated Dia De Los Muertos in style Saturday.

Celebrations started with the Carrera de los Muertos — Race of the — Saturday morning and continued with face painting and musical performances at Dvorak Park. As dusk neared, ElevArte's 35th annual Muertos de la Risa processional brought skeletons and colorful displays to the neighborhood's streets.

Day of the Dead, the annual Hispanic tradition that honors the deceased, falls the day after Halloween.
