CHICAGO — Craft beer, handpainted chocolates and sushi should be on your menu for this weekend.

• How did chef Chris Nugent follow up his renowned Lincoln Square restaurant Goosefoot? He opened a food and wine shop right next door bearing its name.

A year and a half in the making, Goosefoot Food & Wine is chock full of gourmet foods including specially made blends of coffee from Bridgeport Coffee and Sparrow Coffee.

But by far the most interesting thing being sold there are the handpainted Goosefoot Chocolates. Just look at them:

Goosefoot Food & Wine, 2654 W. Lawrence Ave.

• If you know your ABCs, B is for beer. (At least sometimes.)

AJ Hudson's Public House is hosting its AlphaBeer event Saturday, featuring 26 craft beers representing every letter of the alphabet. For $50, you can get a taste of everything from Arcade Brewery Grapefruit IPA to O'Fallons Zeke's Pale Ale.

The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. and tickets are available here.

AJ Hudson's Public House, 3801 N. Ashland Ave.

• Lucky's Sandwich Company in Wicker Park made some changes to stand out from its Wrigleyville and University Village outposts recently.

Now known as Lucky's Wicker Park, the restaurant has a whole new menu that features burgers alongside the sandwiches it made its name with.

Here's the Muchacho burger, topped with sausage, avocado, tortilla strips, cheese and peppers.

Lucky's Wicker Park, 1635 N. Milwaukee Ave.

• It's all about the details at Momotaro, a new Japanese restaurant from the BOKA Restaurant Group in West Loop.

Momotaro's menu focuses on small plates, sushi and robata and offers fresh fish from around the world.

The three-level restaurant offers a variety of experiences from its basement bar Izakaya to its main dining room where the sushi bar serves as the grand centerpiece.

Momotaro, 820 W. Lake St.
