UNIVERSITY VILLAGE — Peet's Coffee and Tea near the UIC campus will offer "buy one, get one free" drinks Friday.
The deal marks the coffee shop's opening at 1328 S. Halsted St., said store manager Chris Samsa. Customers should mention the deal to the barista before ordering, he said.
During the month of October, the company is also offering half-off drinks after noon with a coupon.
Formerly a Caribou Coffee location, Peet's Coffee and Tea opened last week.
