LINCOLN PARK — TJ & Dave, Chicago's famed improv duo, have big plans for their theater space located inside the new iO Theater.

The centerpiece of TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi's The Mission Theater, TRAP, will be held four days a week while TJ & Dave will continue to perform their improv every Wednesday night.

TRAP, a sketch comedy revue, is directed by Jagodowski and Pasquesi and is the inaugural in-house sketch comedy revue at their personal theater.

“The idea of having our own theater space has been evolving for many years, and when the opportunity to open a space in the new iO Theater building arose, we knew it was the perfect fit for us in the Chicago theater community," Jagodowski said.

TRAP is designed to explore moments in life that are not "easy to get out of," according to the theater.

Performers at the new theater, which opened in late August at 1501 N. Kingsbury St., will have month-long residencies highlighting music and comedy on Monday and Tuesdays.

Performance Schedule:

Mondays: “Clergy and Cops” with Ike Reilly; 8 p.m.; $10

Tuesdays: “Raw Nerve” with Jayme Swise and Rebecca Krasney; 8 p.m.; $7

Wednesdays: “TJ & Dave” with TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi; 10:30 p.m.; $10

Thursdays: “TRAP”; 8 p.m; $20

Fridays: “TRAP”; 8 p.m.; $20

Saturdays: “TRAP”; 8 p.m.; $20

Sundays: “TRAP”; 8 p.m.; $20, “TJ & Dave”; 10:30 p.m.; $10
