Things You Can Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town This Weekend

Friday

Sebadoh at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

The legendary indie-rock duo will perform at Lincoln Hall after recently announcing their first album in 14 years. Wedding Dress will open the 21-and-over show. Tickets to the show are $20.

Jackie Kashian at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 p.m.

Jackie Kashian has appeared on "The Conan O'Brien Show" and has her own half-hour special heading to Comedy Central. Tickets to the show are $25 with the purchase of two food or drink items.

Vance "Guitar" Kelly and the Backstreet Blues Band at Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar, 2519 N. Halsted St., 9:30 p.m.

Vance "Guitar" Kelly is an American blues guitarist who has appeared regularly around the city at clubs such as 1815, Checkerboard Lounge and Rosa's Lounge. Doors open at 8 p.m. Music starts at 9:30 p.m. Some free street parking is available on Halsted Street.

Saturday

Why? at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Chirp welcomes Why? for a 21-and-over crowd at Lincoln Hall. Tickets to the show are $21.

Fiesta Familar at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2201 N. Stockton Drive, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Hosted by Hoy, Fiesta Familar is one of the largest Hispanic family events, a day-long celebration with hands-on activities in art, health, gardening, science and music. The event is free of charge.

Gold Coast Walking Tour with the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St., 10 a.m.

Learn about the early history of Chicago through its founders, architecture and public art. This two-hour tour focuses on the Gold Coast. Meet in front of the museum to begin the tour Saturday. Tickets are $20, or $15 for members and include admission to the museum for the day.

Sunday

Tour of Union Station with the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St., 1 p.m.

Explore one of America's last grand railway stations in this two-hour walking tour. Meet at the station, 500 W. Madison St. to begin the tour. Tickets for the tour are $25, or $20 for members.
