CHATHAM — A night of reggae is lined up this weekend for music lovers and those who want to help support after-school programs for inner-city youths.

The indoor event, which is for adults only, starts at 9 p.m. Saturday at the South Central Community Services Inc., 1021 E. 83rd St. Tickets are $10. Free parking is available and food and drinks will be sold, said Dyanne Knight-Lewis, a spokeswoman for Dynate & Associates, which organized the event.

The Maschine Reggae Band will be playing.

"For more than 30 years the South Central Community Services Inc. has provided after-school programs for young people and like most organizations it needs money to keep these programs running," Knight-Lewis said.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 773-483-0900 ext. 231.
