LAKEVIEW — City crews will begin resurfacing a stretch of Sheridan Road in Lakeview on Monday.

The roadwork — which will run along Sheridan from Belmont to Diversey avenues — is expected to last until mid-October, according to 44th Ward Ald. Tom Tunney's office.

Crews will resurface Sheridan Road, replace curbs and gutters, fix bus pads, mill and pave existing asphalt and make sidewalks more handicap-accessible, Tunney said in an email to constituents.

Temporary parking restrictions will pop up along Sheridan and residential cross-streets over the next two months. Residents should be on the lookout for "no parking" signs.

Tunney asked anyone with questions or comments to contact Sougata Deb at 773-525-6034 or sougata.deb@cityofchicago.org.
