CHICAGO — A bicyclist died days after being pinned under a semi in Archer Heights, authorities said.

The man was stuck in the 4700 block of South Archer Avenue about 3:05 p.m. Monday, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

The man was identified as Leopoldo Rodriguez, a 55-year-old man who lived in the 5200 block of South California Avenue in Gage Park, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

He died at 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police are investigating the crash, Pacheco said.
