Green City Market, 1750 N. Clark St., 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

Check out the 10 new vendors at the outdoor market with more than 60 vendors. Wednesday's chef demonstration features Dirk and Terry Fucik of Dirk's Fish & Gourmet House from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The market will be open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays through Oct. 25.

Locally Sourced at Lincoln Park Zoo, 201 N. Clark St., 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Head to Cafe Brauer for live music by Paul Kaye from the Old Town School of Music, locally farmed produce, drink specials on locally brewed Lagunitas beer and work from local artists Weener Ware, Rosanna Reformado and Katie Netti.

Genome at the Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted St., 8:30 p.m.

Genome, a group of Chicago musicians, bring an ecstatic dance party to the Tonic Room stage by blending psychedelic jams with jazz and electronic music. Bifunkal will also perform during the 21-and-over show. Tickets are $5 and doors open at 8 p.m.

Dan Cummins at Zanie's, 1548 North Wells Street, 8:30 p.m.

In the last five years, Dan Cummins has released two successful and critically acclaimed comedy albums along with headlining shows and appearing on "The Tonight Show," "The Late, Late Show" and "Last Comic Standing." Tickets to the 21-and-over show are $25 with the purchase of two food or drink items.
