CHICAGO — One of the men suspected of robbing passengers on an "L" train earlier this month is in custody, police said.

No charges have been filed, and the suspect has not been identified.

Several Orange Line passengers were held up at gunpoint on July 16 as the robbers made their way through an "L" car on one of the route's longest stretches of track, as the Loop-bound train went from Halsted to Roosevelt.

The men told passengers they were armed and took various items from passengers.

Police said the robbers pistol-whipped a woman.

Police had no more information Friday afternoon. This is a developing story.
