CHICAGO — A Chicago Police crackdown on drunken drivers in the Deering District on the South Side last weekend resulted in two arrests for DUI and a total of 81 other tickets, police said.

The DUI Strike Force Patrol caught two people driving under the influence and issued tickets for 29 unsafe vehicle violations, 14 safety belt violations, 11 insurance violations, eight driver's license violations and 19 other violations, police said.

Police will be at it again this weekend in the Harrison District on the West Side from 7 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday.
