Woodlawn Shooting Leaves Man Wounded

CHICAGO — A man was wounded in a shooting in Woodlawn Tuesday night, police said.

About 10:45 p.m., the 27-year-old man was sitting in a car when he saw another man walk up. He exited the car and was shot in the arm by the gunman, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in "stable" condition, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which appeared to be gang-related, police said.
