CHICAGO — Three people were wounded Wednesday night in shootings on the South Side.

A man and a woman were shot during a drive-by in Roseland around 10:30 p.m. The two were sitting on a porch near the intersection of 100th Street and Indiana Avenue when a dark colored car drove past and someone fired from inside, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The 24-year-old man was in stable condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center after being shot in the leg. The 18-year-old woman was also in stable condition at Roseland Hospital after being shot in the ankle, Gaines said.

Nearly 45 minutes later, a 21-year-old man was shot in the leg while standing on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of West 69th Street in Englewood. He drove home before calling police. He was then taken to St. Bernard Hospital in stable condition, Gaines said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which occurred around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.
