LINCOLN PARK — This year's Sheffield Garden Walk will cater to a new crowd: beer lovers.
The 46th annual garden walk and music festival will be paired up with the Chicago Craft Beer Fest.
Along with the usual tours of the neighborhood's top residential gardens, the festival will include more than 100 beers from 50 brewers.
The Chicago Craft Beer Festival, in its third year, will be located along Sheffield between Webster and Fullerton Avenues and will be a ticketed event.
A tasting pass purchased in advance for Saturday or Sunday is $40 and includes up to 15 three-ounce samples of beer.
The Sheffield Garden Walk, located at Sheffield and Webster, will feature tours of more than 60 gardens as well as guided and self-guided tours of architecture in the neighborhood.
Tours will include rowhouses, Victorian-era architecture and St. Vincent de Paul Church.
The festival will be held from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A $7-10 donation is suggested with proceeds benefiting the Sheffield Neighborhood Association.
