Summer Sounds on the Patio of Cafe Bauer, 2001 N. Clark St., 5:30 p.m.

Pair your meal with some soothing live music from professional classical or jazz musicians on the patio at Lincoln Pak Zoo every Tuesday. This week's performance will feature a classical duo with guitarist Gabriel Dactu. The event is from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

OOIOO at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

OOIOO returns after a three-year hiatus with their sixth album "Armonica Hewa" due in October featuring the same all-female team that created "Tiaga." The performance will also feature Brokeback. Tickets to the 21-and-over show are $15 in advance or $18 at the door.

John Roy at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 p.m.

John Roy, a Rogers Park native, jumpstarted his career playing independent rooms around Chicago before being crowned the first ever winner of CBS' "Star Search" in 2003. He's also performed on "The Tonight Show," "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Last Comic Standing" and "Conan." Tickets to the show are $25, with the minimum purchase of two food or drink items.
