LAKEVIEW — Pirates vs. ninjas: Who would win?
You might not answer the age-old question at this Saturday's pub crawl, but there will be shots.
Anyone who dons a costume and buys a $10 wristband from CrawlNightLong will be eligible for drink specials, costume prizes, giftbags, games and $4 Fireball whiskey shots at participating bars:
• Fizz Bar & Grill, 3220 N. Lincoln Ave. (Goose Island Green Line special)
• The Pony Inn, 1638 W. Belmont Ave.
• Flagship Tavern and Grill, 1622 W. Belmont Ave.
• Waterhouse Tavern & Grill, 3407 N. Paulina St. (Revolution Antihero special)
Half of all wristband sales will be donated to Reading With Pictures, a nonprofit that promotes literacy through comic books.
"This is our first charity crawl, but we're hoping to incorporate Reading With Pictures or other charities into all of our future crawls since it adds another layer to the fun," said CrawlNightLong co-founder Garrett Clark.
