LAKEVIEW — If you're looking for a kid-friendly event this weekend, try swinging by Hawthorne Scholastic Academy.
"The Lorax" is playing for free there Sunday night.
The 2012 animated movie is based on a classic Dr. Seuss book about protecting the environment. Characters are voiced by Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Betty White. The movie is rated PG.
The show starts Sunday at dusk at Hawthorne, 3319 N. Clifton Ave. The rain date is July 20.
