LINCOLN SQUARE — Wind chimes and pan flutes are out, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Justin Roberts is in during a special family yoga class at Bloom Yoga.
Roberts, a rock star of the family music scene, will perform original tunes live at 5:30 p.m. July 5, 4663 N. Rockwell St., during a class that's one part yoga lesson, one part kids' concert.
Instructor Renee Chester will lead participants through playful yoga poses — appropriate for ages 3 and up — accompanied by Roberts on guitar. Adults are encouraged to channel their inner child, while the youngsters receive an introduction to yoga in a lively setting.
The cost of the workshop is $30 per pair (adult and child), and $10 for each additional individual.
