ROGERS PARK — The Chariot Festival of India kicks off at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Willye B. White Park, where revelers will pull a 36-foot-long chariot to Loyola Park while dancing and singing along the one-mile stretch of road.
At Loyola Park, organizers invite all for a "free feast" and other festivities — including yoga, meditation, face painting and henna-tattoo painting — from 12:30-6 p.m.
Rogers Park's Hare Krishna Temple organizes the annual event.
