DOWNTOWN — Three Downtown parks will host free movies Tuesday night as part of their neighborhoods' ongoing Movies in the Parks series.

At Fulton River Park, Neighbors of West Loop is sponsoring a screening of "Gravity" at 353 N. DesPlaines St.

The PG-13 space thriller starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Future movies coming to Fulton River Park include "Sixteen Candles" on July 21 and "Fast & Furious 6" on Aug. 19.

At Lake Shore Park on Tuesday, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago will host a screening of the family friendly cartoon "Happy Feet" at the park, located at 808 N. Lake Shore Dr.

Future movies planned for Lake Shore Park screenings include "The Monuments Men" July 13 and "The Lego Movie" Aug. 18.

Although not technically part of the neighborhood-focused Movies in the Parks series, Millennium Park will also have a screening Tuesday night at the Pritzker Pavilion as part of its Summer Film Series. The 1984 classic "Ghostbusters" is on the agenda, and is sure to draw a crowd.

All three movies are free and start at dusk. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and snacks.
