Logan Square Store Clerk Shot During Robbery

CHICAGO — A Logan Square store clerk was shot during a robbery Saturday evening, police said.

About 5:35 p.m., a gunman entered a store in the 2600 block of North Kedzie Avenue, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman.

During a robbery, the gunman shot a 25-year-old store clerk in the leg, Pacheco said. The clerk was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition.

The gunman took cash from the store and fled, Pacheco said. No one was in custody in connection with the shooting as of Saturday evening.
