SOUTH LOOP — BeeZzee Fresh Food will open a second location in mid-July at 424 S. Wabash Ave., according to owner and manager Ania Swiverska.

"I think there's great potential over there — the crowd is great, students are there, and that's the target group we're trying to reach," Swiverska said. The first BeeZzee Fresh Food opened at 2807 N. Sheffield Ave. in 2011.

The new South Loop outpost will be a carbon copy of the original, Swiverska said.

"Same exact menu: the concept is fresh, healthy food," she said. "It's like a home-cooked kind of meal you can get on the go for lunch. We're also going to have crepes, some breakfast, a salad bar, make your own rice bowl ... the same things we have here."

Swiverska said the design of the space will also be identical to the Lakeview location's modern, white and red decor.

"You won't know which restaurant you're in once you step inside," she said.

Unlike the Lakeview location, the South Loop restaurant won't offer carryout or delivery right away, though Swiverska said they may add those options down the line if there's sufficient demand.

Menu highlights at the flagship BeeZzee Fresh Food include create-your-own wraps, salads and rice bowls with proteins like pork, chicken, salmon and shrimp, and sweet crepes, including a Nutella, banana and walnut combo.
