CHICAGO — A 14-year-old boy was shot in Rogers Park Thursday night.

The teen was shot in his buttocks in the 6500 block of North Ashland Avenue around 9:06 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.

He was in stable condition at the scene and police did not know what hospital he was taken to, Gaines said.

No one is in custody for the shooting and detectives are investigating.
