CHICAGO — Portraits from New Mexico to New York City will be on display during the "Conversations with Strangers" exhibition Friday to July 26 at the Rangefinder Gallery, 300 W. Superior St.

Photographer Virgil DiBiase took the photos while engaging in conversations with his subjects. The gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays or by appointment. An opening night reception will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday.

The portraits were all taken with Leica cameras. The Rangefinder Gallery is "dedicated to un-retouched film and digital photographs from the legendary Leica M camera," according to a news release.
