LINCOLN PARK — It finally feels like summer and Hotel Lincoln is celebrating with free ice cream.
The hotel, 1816 N. Clark St., is set to throw an old-fashioned ice cream social Saturday to celebrate both summer and the end of school.
The kid-friendly event will feature neighborhood favorite Bobtail Ice Cream from 10 a.m. to noon.
The hotel will be blocking off a portion of the sidewalk out front for a chalk art contest with prizes for participants.
The event will be held outside the front doors of the hotel, which is located directly across Clark Street from the Lincoln Park Zoo's Nature Boardwalk.
