Roseland Stabbing Leaves Man, 56, Dead

CHICAGO — A 56-year-old man was fatally stabbed in a domestic-related incident on the South Side, police said.

Police were called around 9:10 p.m. to the 10400 block of South Morgan Street in Roseland, and officers found the man stabbed in his chest. He was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he later died, said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.

The man was identified as Louis Winn, of the 1000 block of South Morgan Street. He was pronounced dead at 10:02 p.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.

A woman is being questioned for the crime but charges have not been filed. Detectives are investigating, Gaines said.
