PORTAGE PARK — An '80s classic — and a flick starring Chicago's own Vince Vaughn — are on tap for this weekend's shows in the Chicago Park District's Movies in the Parks series.
"Gremlins," which was released in 1984 and spawned two sequels, is about a young man whose new pet transforms into small, destructive and evil — but oh-so-adorable — monsters.
"Delivery Man" stars Vaughn as an underachiever whose life is changed forever when he finds out that he fathered 533 children via sperm donations he made 20 years earlier.
Movie and park lovers can bring a blanket and a picnic basket to watch current and classic flicks for free.
