BRIDGEPORT — Authorities are questioning four people after a series of garage fires in Bridgeport overnight.

The fires, initially described by police as an act of arson, occurred in the 2900 block of South Canal Street and the 3000 block of South Union Avenue about 1:40 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Tuesday's fires echoed a similar series of garage fires that took place in April.
