LAKEVIEW — If you're strapped for cash this Father's Day, try bringing dad to Blanca's Salon on Wednesday.
The unisex spot at 911 W. Irving Park Road is offering free shampoos, haircuts, blowouts and styles for fathers from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Salon staff said they aren't accepting reservations for the special, and that photos of dads with their kids will work as proof of fatherhood.
The event is sponsored by the Central Lakeview Merchants Association.
