Things to Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town Thursday

Play It Forward at Joe's on Weed St., 940 W. Weed St., 7 p.m.

Listen to great music and win prizes at this benefit for Envision, an organization that enhances the lives of Chicago residents with developmental disabilities of all ages. Performers include Aktar Aktar, Dr. Kevorkian & The Volunteers, Doug Shotwell and the Right Hand Band. Tickets are $10 for general admission or $25 for VIP tickets which includes two raffle tickets and three drink tickets.

Mr. Singer at The Notebaert Nature Museum, 2340 N. Cannon Drive, 1:45 p.m.

Head to the Nature Museum for high-energy educational musical fun when Mr. Singer performs his 30-minute sing-a-long. The event is free with museum admission.

Band of Skulls at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Ave., 8 p.m.

Band of Skulls will perform music from its new album "Himalayan." Deap Vally is also scheduled to perform at the 18-and-older show. Tickets are available for $20.

Lincoln Park Open House Party at The Social Table, 819 W. Armitage Ave., 4-7 p.m.

Lincoln Park businesses team up every first Thursday of the month for an open house party at a local business this month they head to the Social Table, a new concept opening soon in the neighborhood in which they will have that option to party indoors or outside on the patio. The lineup includes Johnny's Beef and Gyros, Swirlz Cupcakes, Berco's Popcorn, pour-over coffee from City Grounds and Milkshakes from Edzo's Burger Shop.
