EDGEBROOK — The 14th annual Movie in the Parks series will start Saturday on the Far Northwest Side.

Movie and park lovers can bring a blanket and a picnic basket to watch current and classic flicks for free.

The movies scheduled to be shown in June on the Far Northwest Side are:

  • "A League of Their Own" at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at Edgebrook Park, 6525 N. Hiawatha Ave.
  • "Monsters University" at 8 p.m. June 12 at Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave.
  • "Delivery Man" at 9 p.m. June 13 at Dunham Park, 4638 N. Melvina Ave.
  • "Gremlins" at 7:45 p.m. June 14 at Chopin Park, 3420 N. Long Ave.
  • "The Lego Movie" at 8 p.m. June 20 at Olympia Park, 6566 N. Avondale Ave.
  • "Monsters University" at 8 p.m. June 25 at Portage Park, 4100 N. Long Ave.
  • "To Kill a Mockingbird" at 8 p.m. June 27 at Wilson Park, 4630 N. Milwaukee Ave.
  • "Despicable Me" at 9 p.m. June 28 at Oriole Park, 5430 N. Olcott Ave.
