WEST LOOP — West Loop residents are encouraged to attend the local police meeting for Beat 1224 Wednesday evening. 

That beat stretches from Halsted Street west to Wood Street and from Lake Street south to Adams Street. Residents are encouraged to attend Wednesday evening's police meeting at Chicago Charter Bank, 932 W. Randolph St., from 6-7 p.m. 

Crime statistics for the area will be shared and community input is welcome. Neighbors have the opportunity to talk with police officers about any suspicious activity in the area and discuss any ongoing neighborhood issues.
